After I got Seyah, I felt that he could use a buddy. So I got him Starbuck. This is Starbuck at his breeders home before he came to me. He was raised in a bedroom with his mother and sibling the snow kitten. Starbuck was such a cute kitten and for an F3 grew to be quite large. He was very gentle and could never hurt anyone or any other cat. In fact I always thought that he felt guilty for chewing on his food.

Seyah Comes Home

"Seyah Comes Home"  back in 2004 I started searching for a Savannah after one of my black domestics died from renal failure. Annabel had been with me for 13 years and I just could not imagine her being gone. After seeing the Savannahs on a news program I started searching for a kitten and found none. Someone suggested that I go look at Seyah. He was a troubled cat that had been re-homed 3 times. When I went to visit he was being kept out with the stud cats in an outside enclosure. He was scared to be inside the house and was very timid about his surroundings. The breeder which acquired him from someone that could no longer keep him said that he was not getting along with her adults. He was a very strikingly handsome cat and super exotic looking. At the time there were very few breeders of F2 and very few F1's around.  I soon got him and shortly there after Seyah was interviewed by FOX news in San Diego then from FOX news from LA. Seyah and I had a good long time together and there were up and downs. He pasted away in July 26th of 2012. I have photos of his resting place and preparation of his burial on my facebook page "Spotted Love Savannahs" in the album "Seyah's final days". May he rest in peace.  Seyah was a true love a cat and had all a cat could want. I only wish that I had devoted more of my time with only him. As a small breeder I had to spend time with the other cats as well. He was the only one that had full run of the house and property.
